Today, we were notified of significant traffic congestion on Meadow Lane, Coalville. Following attendance in the area, it was established that an event is taking place at Broom Leys School.

Officers attended and observed the parking situation. At the time of our visit, no illegal parking offences were identified. However, the volume of traffic is causing delays in the area.

If you are attending the event today, please use the school car park where possible and be considerate of local residents and other road users by ensuring you do not cause any obstruction.

Motorists who do not need to travel through the area may wish to consider an alternative route until traffic levels reduce.
